Soal Pajak, Ini Kata Twitter Indonesia

Twitter sebagai perusahaan internet global (OTT) yang beroperasi di Indonesia, bersama perusahaan OTT lain sedang disorot Pemerintah terkait dengan kewajiban membayar pajak. Masalah pajak menjadi perhatian Pemerintah lantaran perusahaan OTT belum menjadi badan usaha tetap (BUT). Apa kata Twitter Indonesia terkait hal ini? "Semua dalam proses, saya tidak akan memberikan respon soal ini. Bagi saya, semua yang diminta itu sedang berjalan," kata Country Bussines Head Twitter Indonesia, Roy Simangunsong, seusai peluncuran Twitter Kemala di Semarang, Jawa Tengah, Rabu (28/9/2016) malam. Roy mengatakan, pihak perusahaan terus menjalin komunikasi dengan pemerintah terkait hal ini. Pihak Twitter juga berusaha memenuhi apa yang dipersyaratkan pemerintah Indonesia. "Perusahaan akan melihat masalah ini. Sejauh ini komunikasi masih berjalan," ujar Roy. Lalu, apakah ada keinginan Twitter untuk menjadi badan hukum tetap di Indonesia? "Semua masih dalam proses. Di Indonesia itu regency. Banyak proses yang harus dilalui, ada banyak hal. Kalau harus menjawab kekurangan apa, yang menjawab dari pemerintah Indonesia," tambah Roy lagi. Twitter sendiri di Indonesia masih menjadi kantor perwakilan, sehingga transaksi bisnis di Tanah Air tidak berpengaruh ke pendapatan negara. Dengan kata lain, belum menjadi wajib pajak. Selain Twitter, perusahaan raksasa lain yang sedang disorot pemerintah terkait pajak antara lain Google, Yahoo, dan Facebook.

You see? It's curious. Ted did figure it out - time travel. And when we get back, we gonna tell everyone. How it's possible, how it's done, what the dangers are. But then why fifty years in the future when the spacecraft encounters a black hole does the computer call it an 'unknown entry event'? Why don't they know? If they don't know, that means we never told anyone. And if we never told anyone it means we never made it back. Hence we die down here. Just as a matter of deductive logic.
